Medical Billing Software
Designed by the son of a noted physician, this application was written "for Dad" and then was so successful that "Dad" shared it with other physician friends. Now the son finds himself supporting multiple practices on a application that was only meant for "Dad!" The knIT Group is in the process of assisting this developer by providing help desk support for the existing clients. We will also market the product to new clients, do the installation and training, track all of the sales and expenses, and cut a check for a nice percentage to the developer. Now he can go back to doing what he loves which is just developing the product!
Sales Automation
With all preparation work done, this application comes to us completely written, with a well thought out business plan and marketing strategy for the industry. However, the owners lack the contacts with venture capital firms to take it to the next level. The knIT Group will present this application for the software owners and once funded, will receive 5% ownership in the company. The developers have no up front cost and it is a win-win situation for both parties.
Software Integration and Marketing
A successful business owner who developed an application to manage his business ten years ago and has since shared it with many other similar businesses desires to have his application reviewed for mass marketing. Upon evaluation, we determined that it is an excellent application but lacks the bridges to other mission critical applications like the accounting software and web applications. In order to mass market the application, we are assisting with the upgrades to the system and the marketing plan that will follow.
A Great Idea!
Some very entrepreneurial teens came to us with an idea for a web based application that they thought could help their community. Of course their primary objective is to graduate from high school. They also had NO programming experience but did spend a lot of time on the web! This application is being developed in conjunction with a non profit organization with-off shore programmers. It will have very little upfront costs involved and all proceeds will go back to support the non profit. A small sourcing fee is all the knIT Group will receive.
