How do you sum up years of experience, educations, and life experiences in a short simple paragraph? It is not possible. We believe that it is a combination of innate skills, personality, experience and passion that makes our team a success.   • Sandy Ellingson

    Certified in hundreds of vertical market applications for the accounting, manufacturing, non profit, retail and medical industries, Sandy brings 20 years of experience in systems integration to the team. Her client base ranges from small family owned business to Fortune 500 companies in the US and internationally. She is experienced in client server, hosted, and distributed model applications. Her networking and motivational skills have been an inspiration to her team.

  • Denise Austin

    It is hard to hear the term project management without thinking of Denise Austin, (and maybe secondarily exercise!). Denise brings 25 years of project management experience to our team with an extraordinary record of completing the projects on time and under budget. Whether it is managing a multi million dollar building project in Las Vegas or a multi million dollar software project for a Fortune 500 company, she is completely at home and in control. Her consulting career has taken her all over the world and allowed her to work with almost every type of business imaginable. Denise may be the only person on the team who communicates every single day with every single member, (and sometimes drives us crazy!), but she is also the first one thanked when the awards are given for success.

  • Davey Solomon

    If it has anything to do with money, cash flow, funding, or projections then Davey has the experience and expertise to not only help others succeed , but to exceed all expectations. In fact, in the latter years of his career he keeps working himself out of jobs because he does the job so well. Davey has been a part of working with many start up companies and seeing them grow to become successful publicly owned corporations in very short periods of time. He understands all of the intricacies of building the proper business plan, acquiring the appropriate funding, and even working with the best venture capitalists or angel investors in the country. Davey provides the stability and backbone to our organization that allows others to succeed...and to actually have fun doing it!

  • Steve Ferwerda

    With a degree in Business Management and marketing, and after running his own successful business, Steve decided to tackle one of the most challenging jobs imaginable...shaping the minds of college students by teaching technology. Steve has been both mentor and friend to countless students who have moved on to successful careers in technology. Now he brings that same passion and determination to the knit group team as he daily motivates and encourages as only a teacher can do! We are not sure if Steve acquired his sense of humor at birth or if he developed it while teaching programming and other technology classes, but we are all thankful that he brings a daily dose of laughter and wisdom to our team.

  • Andre Petras

    As a techno savvy CPA with 25+ years of experience, Andre has achieved a national reputation for not only knowing how to "manage the books" but also how to implement the best software to manage, streamline, and improve business processes. He is often called in at the most critical times in a company's history to assist in achieving specific goals. Whether it is the bank, investors, or the business owners themselves, they each realize the unique gifts that Andre has in assisting them with the tasks at hand. Full of personality and enthusiasm, Andre quickly becomes more than a consultant or advisor and much more of a friend. He quickly earns the trust and respect of all he encounters. As a team member he could easily take the spotlight because of his vast experience and expertise but he consistently works in the background to ensure that every other team member proceeds rather than seeking the credit himself. Because of this, he is often the unseen force of success that deserves much more credit!

  • Mark Ellingson

    After a varied career in security, management and mainframe programming for the credit card processing industry, Mark brings a level of detail to our quality assurance process that is unsurpassed. Lovingly referred to as “MacGyver,” he always has the right tool or right process to correct any problem. (Google TV show MacGyver if you don’t get this!) After almost ten years in “The Office” he looked for an “open source” escape, and found it with the knit Group. Whether it is testing code or protecting the President of the United States, (he’s done both!), Mark performs his job with the utmost of loyalty and professionalism.

  • Julie Ferwerda

    Noted author and speaker, Julie assists us part time in areas of marketing and public relations. Her communication style immediately endears you to whatever topic she is discussing. To say that she could a write marketing plan that would make an Eskimo want to buy ice is an understatement.
